A former professional scuba diver, Christian spends these days trying to keep his head above water by plying his trade in technology recruitment. He has 20+ years of experience across two continents and is the Co-Founder of hireVouch

He has a real passion for Canadian innovation and has recently been cutting his teeth in angel investing and advising early-stage start-ups on hiring strategy

Outside of work Chris loves to travel and has visited more than 50 countries including two round-the-world trips. Christian is a doting father of two and a proud husband (and married a psychiatrist for good reason!), captain of a co-ed soccer team, and an avid fly fisherman, golfer, and snowboarder.

Patrick is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of hireVouch, a boutique technology recruitment agency headquartered out of Toronto. He has over 15 years of recruitment experience working in Canada, the US, and the UK with companies including Hays Specialty Recruitment, TD Bank, and KPMG. Patrick also participates in Canada's technology ecosystem as an angel investor,  participating in several early-stage investments.

Outside of work, Patrick volunteers coaching youth sports and is in an advisory role for initiatives in the Orillia area including the Lakehead/City of Orillia Cyber-Security Advisory Group and Orillia Fuel Innovation incubator. He enjoys spending time with his family boating and golfing in the summer and skiing in the winter. ​

Shelby is a people-first recruiter and account manager who recently celebrated five years with hireVouch. Her background in retail management and customer service helps her foster teamwork and build meaningful partnerships with both candidates and hiring teams. Committed to continuous improvement, she prioritizes proactive solutions and long-term success.

Outside of work, Shelby enjoys spending time outdoors, whether on her family’s farm or exploring her hometown, which she recently moved back to. She’s also on a mission to discover new hobbies along the way!

After earning her Bachelor’s in Sociology from Queen’s University in Kingston, Kayla moved to Toronto and briefly worked as a Behaviour Therapist before joining hireVouch, where she has spent over four years growing her skills. Leading a team of skilled recruiters and working closely with clients, Kayla focuses on connecting tech talent with dynamic companies. 

A lifelong learner, Kayla recently completed leadership coaching programs at Rotman School of Management. Outside work, she enjoys taking ballet classes, exploring the world through travel, and golfing - though she’s still perfecting her swing and hoping her golf balls don’t end up in a different country! She also enjoys spending quality time with her dog and partner.

Kristina is a results-driven recruiter with nearly four years of experience in the IT and engineering sectors, she specializes in attracting and hiring top talent. Skilled in the full recruitment lifecycle—from strategic sourcing and screening to candidate management—she leverages strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with candidates and understand their career goals. Her approach builds authentic, trust-based relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring successful and enduring placements that drive long-term success for everyone involved.

When not abiding by the ABCs of business (always be closing), Kristina takes long walks with her dog, Fawkes, and enjoys a nice book with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, depending on the time of day.

Jill is a lifelong learner whose career reflects adaptability, resilience, and a dedication to supporting others' success. Her journey spans roles in retail and sales, followed by impactful work as a radiation therapist. Since transitioning to technical recruiting in 2022, she has advanced to Principal Technical Recruiter, driven by a focus on building relationships and fostering growth across teams.

Beyond work, Jill enjoys snowboarding and instructing beginners, as well as playing volleyball, biking, and exploring new restaurants. Recently, she welcomed a happy new puppy into her life.

After spending three years in SaaS Sales at notable Toronto-based companies such as Docebo and Lillio, Joe has transitioned into the world of tech head-hunting and is not turning back. 

Joe is fascinated by technology and enjoys discussing the latest trends and innovations with some of the brightest minds in the Toronto tech scene. He is an active tech investor and crypto enthusiast. 

Outside of work, you can find Joe on the tennis courts. He competed at a high level growing up earning a spot in the top 40 in the Province of Ontario and represented Dalhousie University as a varsity athlete.​
